A 15-meter high billboard on Wiyoto Wiyono Toll Road KM 15.150, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-District, North Jakarta, is demolished by local Building Control Sub-Department.
We’ve repeatedly warned the billboard owner, but they ignored it
The billboard that belongs to PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (CMNP) has no Building Layout Plan (RTLB) and Building Permit (IMB). The demolition itself was done on Thursday (12/4) until 3 AM today.
Head of Controlling Section for North Jakarta Building Control Sub-Department, Isbandi, said that the 6x12-meter wide and 15-meter tall billboard does not have permit. Thus, its existence violated Bylaw No. 7/2010 on Building Permit.
Heavy Rain, Some Trees and Billboards Collapsed“Indeed, the billboard did not have RTLB and IMB. We’ve repeatedly warned the billboard owner, but they ignored it. Hopefully this demolition could be a shock therapy for other billboard owners to obey the rules on billboard installation,” he stated, Friday (12/5).
